Fritsch Holzer Park - park area | City of Boroondara

Fritsch Holzer Park is suitable for weddings, picnics, celebrations and casual social gatherings.

It has fantastic walking tracks, while large open spaces and mature trees provide options for events.

Before you book
You can book a grass area in the park for your exclusive use.

We require at least 5 full business days notice.

You can apply to bring:
– up to 30 chairs and 5 tables
– a marquee or arbour covering up to 40 square metres.

Parking and transport

There is limited parking along Rose Street.

The park is less than 1.5 km from Camberwell and Auburn train stations.

Booking times

7 days including public holidays.

April to October: 8 am - 6 pm.

November to March: 8 am - 8:30 pm.

Booking fees

Space	Fee
Alexandra Gardens, Canterbury Gardens, Surrey Gardens	$170 per hour (includes exclusive use of the rotunda). Commercial hire fee $1800.00 per day.
Central Gardens, Wallen Road Reserve and Maranoa Botanic Gardens	$170 per hour. Commercial hire fee $1800.00 per day.
All other parks and gardens	$170 per 4-hour block. Commercial hire fee $1800.00 per day.
Event bond	minimum $200
